Gear up to participate in this beautiful trek to Har-ki-Dun valley which is a picture perfect destination comprising of breathtaking valley, wild flowers and charming meadows.

This is a 7 day tour with treks passing through the Govind National Park and some of the most beautiful forests you will ever come across! Get ready to be mesmerized by the surrounding peaks and glaciers in the Banderpoonch Range - a delight to feast your eyes on for everyone alike. The trek by Tons River from Netwar Village brings you to scenic villages of Gangad, Seema and Osla. Get a chance to explore the nearby Jamdar glacier or Ruinsara Lake as well!

  • Porter and mule support to carry camping equipments. Please note that personal luggage will not be carried by mules and porters
  • All veg meals starting from day 1 dinner to day 7 breakfast. We provide hot breakfast and hot dinner. On trekking days packed lunch will be provided

  • Personal porter support will be chargeable at 200 Rs per bag per day.Weight of 1 bag should not increase 12 kgs
  • Any meals during the travel journey to Giangad and back to Dehradoon
  • Rent for trekking shoes is Rs 200 per trekking day. The charges are applicable irrespective if the shoes are worn or not during the trek. Availability of shoes need to be confirmed with us
  • Rent for walking stick is Rs 50 per trekking day. The charges are applicable irrespective if the stick is used or not

Package Itinerary

  • Day 1
  • Dehradoon to Sankri Giangad (210kms) - 8 hrs drive
  • Start early from Dehradoon and Reach Sankri by evening
  • Proceed a few more kilometers to reach Giangad camping ground
  • Spent the night in camps
  • Day 2
  • Giangad to Taluka/Daatmir (2200m) - 12km (5hrs)
  • After breakfast, Start from Giangad to Taluka
  • It is a lovely walk along the true left of the river, passing through forests, apple orchards and fields
  • Reach campsite for the day near the village of TALUKA or up near the village of DATMIR
  • Day 3
  • Taluka/Daatmir to Seema/Olsa - 11kms (5hrs)
  • After breakfast, Start the day towards the village of SEEMA
  • The tons river is always on left and it's a delightful walk beside it
  • The village of Seema has a few small dhabas and a GMVN hotel. However the camping sites are better at OSLA, across the river, on the way to Har-ki-dun
  • Overnight in tents
  • Day 4
  • Seema/Osla to Har-Ki-Dun (3510m) - 12 km
  • Begin from overnight camping site and cross the tons river from the stone bridge near Seema
  • The trail now rises higher and offers some beautiful views of the Ruinsara valley and the peaks in the banderpoonch range
  • The trail ascends through the fields and climbs high above the confluence of the tons and Ruinsara gad
  • The camp is at the meeting point of the two valleys from jamdar glacier and the views are excellent
  • Overnight in tents
  • Day 5
  • Har-Ki-Dun Explore and Back to Osla- 12 kms
  • Start the day with breakfast and spend some time to explore the nearby area
  • The campsite offers beautiful views of jamdar glacier, Hata peak and the swargarohini peak
  • Return back to campsite and head back to Osla village
  • Overnight in tents
  • Day 6
  • Osla to Giangad- 23kms
  • Start early
  • Reach Taluka village the final 12 kms can also be covered in a shared jeep
  • Spent the evening strolling around Sankri village
  • Overnight in tents
  • Day 7
  • Giangad to Dehradoon- 210 kms
  • Leave Giangad and reach Dehradoon by late evening
